StarMark Cabinetry
has built its reputation around the qualtiy it provides. Every
aspect of construction is attended to and made durable.
Listed below are five key points of quality in cabinetry by
StarMark
Wood is nature's finest craftsman's
material and StarMark begins with only the best, hand-selected
cuts. This beautiful raw material is carefully sized,
sanded and hand finished to your specifications. StarMark
doors, face frames and drawer fronts come in a comprehensive
wood species selection: Maple, cherry, oak and hickory.
End panels are rugged plywood, not particle board.
All StarMark drawer boxes are constructed for years
of demanding, daily use: The Custom
Collection drawer is hefty 3/4" dovetailed
hardwood, and the Premier
Collection drawer is rugged 1/2" dovetailed
hardwood. And all StarMark drawer boxes carry a reassuring
lifetime warranty.
Every finish
is the end result of a multistep process that combines
the best of today's technology with old-world hand
crafting. The surfaces are prepared to fine tolerances,
then given a base stain that is hand-applied, and
hand-wiped. Special finish techniques such as glazing
are also products of careful hand application. Finally,
a specially-formulated catalyzed varnish topcoat is
applied and oven-baked, just like fine furniture finishes.
The result is great durability and cleanability.
Substantial full-depth support runners add rigidity
to the cabinet box. The lifetime-warranty StarMark
Custom Collection drawer is a rigid four-sided box--durable
hardwood a full three-quarter-inch thick. Corners
employ time-honored dovetail joinery. The undermount
glide stays clean and out of sight. A full-extension
glide is an optional upgrade. The Premier Collection
drawer is four-sided 1/2" dovetailed hardwood
with precise sidemount glides. Drawer interiors are
given top-quality finishes for durability and cleanability.
And all StarMark drawer boxes carry a reassuring lifetime
warranty.
The Custom Collection four-sided drawer box utilizes
an undermount glide. The glide is hidden under the
drawer, operates with smooth precision, and is rated
for a 100-pound load. Undermount glides are out of
the way of dirt and spills, and a clean glide operates
better, longer. The Premier drawer uses an epoxy-coated
sidemount glide rated for 75 pounds. All StarMark
drawer glides and boxes carry a reassuring lifetime
warranty.
Doors open on lifetime-warranty
hinges. Custom Collection shelves are a hefty three-quarter
inch thick, and fully adjustable. Premier shelves
are five-eighths inch thick. Convenience accessories
are built to operate smoothly, clean up easily and
stand up to hard use.
